Welcome: -Henry Klassen, Chair, Nechako Watershed Council

 Decision: The NWC accepts the minutes of September 14 & 15, 2001 NWC meeting in Smithers with changes.

 Decision:  The NWC accepts the Interim Statement of Revenue and Expenditures for year ended March 31, 2001 as presented.

Decision: The NWC accepts the Interim Statement of Revenue and Expenditures for 6 months ended September 30, 2001

 Decision: The NWC approves the revised Request For Proposals as discussed, and will proceed with Phase I of the Evaluation of the Benefits of a WRF.



 Decision:  Freed up Flows Allocation discussion will be moved to first NWC meeting in 2002.  



 Action:  Joan Chess to send the Request For Proposals to the list of consultants by October 26, 2001.



 Action:  Richard Prokopanko will review the Public Awareness and Support Program for presentation at a future meeting.



 Action:  NWC will have a conference call to finalize WRF work plan and presentation on Wednesday November 14, 2001 at 7am.

 Action: Revised work plan and presentation to be completed by committee and distributed by Friday November 9, 2001 to NWC members by Sabra McLain.

 Action: Wally Eamer to arrange the call in phone number for the November 14, 2001 conference call.

 Action: Carmen Karnapke to prepare draft presentation material by November 9, 2001 for November 14, 2001 conference call.

 Action: Committee to prepare content of presentation.  Members are:  Richard Prokopanko, Wally Eamer, Henry Klassen, Rick Krehbiel, David Marshall, and Mark Gillis.

 Action:  Richard Prokopanko to follow up on availability of consultant to help develop work plan.

 Action:  Invite NEEFMC members to November 30, December 1, 2001 meeting and encourage all NWC members and participating non-members to attend.

 Action: Mark Gillis will check with government communications department concerning a joint press release on the letter the Premier sent by the NWC

 Decision:  The next meeting of the Nechako Watershed Council will be:
