Welcome – Henry Klassen, Chair, Nechako Watershed Council

 Action:  Rick Krehbiel will incorporate NWC member’s comments recorded by Joan Chess and Carmen Karnapke at the November 30, 2001 meeting on the CWRF Work Plan Draft 2 Version 3 rk003 and distribute them to the CWRF subcommittee.

 Action:  The CWRF subcommittee will meet and discuss latest version of the CWRF Workplan so that it may be distributed to NWC members by December 21, 2001.

 Action: The NWC will meet by conference call to discuss the CWRF Work Plan January 11, 2001 7AM.

 Action:  When consensus is reached on the CWRF Work Plan by the NWC members it will be forwarded to Minister Rick Thorpe, Ministry of Competition Science and Enterprise who will attend the next NWC meeting.

 Action: Henry Klassen will write a letter to Dr. John Davis, Regional Director General, Department of Fisheries and Oceans inviting him to the next NWC meeting, and requesting a point person to deal with the CWRF.  

 Action: Richard Prokopanko will ask Clyde Mitchell, Chris Wilson and Duncan Hay about studies needed and which can be started in the first year to proceed with the CWRF.

 Decision:  The NWC accepts Gary Holman’s proposal to do the Evaluation of the Benefits of a CWRF Phase 1 for delivery mid February 2002.

 Decision:  The NWC accept the minutes of October 19 & 20, 2001 meeting in Smithers as presented.

 Decision:  Phil Zacharatos will replace Wally Eamer as the representative of the Province of British Columbia on the NWC.

 Decision:  The NWC accepts the purchase of a banner with the purpose statement from the NWC Terms of Reference with formatting changes.

 Decision:  The NWC will not purchase reference books on cloud seeding as presented for discussion.

 Decision:  The next meetings of the NWC will be:

                        January 25 & 26, 2002 - Smithers

                        March 8 & 9, 2002 - TBA

                        April 26 & 27, 2002 - TBA
